Corporate Regional Director of Nursing Full-Time

Paragon Management SNF, LLC is looking to hire a full-time Corporate Regional Director of Nursing to provide direction, oversight and leadership to support the clinical goals of our Skilled Nursing Facilities which are located throughout Long Island and Westchester County.

The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years prior experience as a Director of Nursing in a long term care environment.

Summary:

The Regional Director of Nursing will provide oversight to our facilities in the following areas (but not limited to):

Resident Care
State & Federal surveys
Regulatory compliance and clinical services.
Will be responsible for driving clinical outcomes, implementing and updating clinical policies/procedures while ensuring compliance with State/Federal regulations & standards of care.
Three to five years of prior experience as a Regional Director of Nursing in LTC is required.
Position REQUIRES some local travel (Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties)

DUTIES:

Assess & evaluate clinical services in assigned facilities to identify areas for clinical improvement.
Schedules facility visits based on facility issues and compliance needs.
Schedules training / professional development meetings for DONs
Provides assistance & support throughout the survey process including: preparation for survey, writing a plan of correction & developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3-5 years of experience as a DON, preferred

REQUIRED:

Candidate must possess a valid NYS RN license.
Supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of State & Federal guidelines.
