HOUSEKEEPING – Per Diem (You must be willing to work some weekends, holidays and some weekdays).

North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing Center, a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Mohegan Lake, NY, is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

Willing to work a schedule of rotating weekends, holidays and some weekdays.
Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE:

Experienced or on the job training
