We are looking for an experienced RN Educator.

Our RN Educator reports to the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
Direct, oversee and assist with evaluations and competencies for all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)
Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures
Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
Report to upper management
Will provide training and supervision to Nursing staff to address high-risk areas of exposure during surveys
Collaboratively works with other disciplines to assist in addressing pre-survey functions.
Assist facilities to determine root cause analysis of complaints and develop plans to decrease
Review high-risk events with facility teams to determine root cause and QAPI plan to address. Follow up on plan initiation.
Maintain open lines of communication
Communicate with families and physician offices in regards to nursing and medical needs
Skills
Proven experience as a registered nurse in a supervisory role
A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in at least a mid-level management position overseeing clinical services, infection control or a related area of responsibility.
In-depth knowledge of nursing home procedures
Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration
Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
Great communication and people skills
Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Degree in nursing;
Valid nursing and CPR certification
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to proactively team build and develop positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to interact proactively with a culturally diverse staff and patient population.
Must be able to work independently, prioritize responsibilities and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Additionally is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments
