Recreation Aide Full-Time

Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing is looking for a reliable, fun and engaging Recreation Aides for Resident activities.

A positive attitude and energy is a must

This is a Full-Time Position

REQUIREMENTS:

*MUST HAVE A 4 YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE

*MUST HAVE A MUSIC OR ART BACKGROUND

Experience with activities in a healthcare setting must have experience working with residents with dementia. CTRS or CTRS eligible preferred and preferably college credits in the therapeutic recreation or related field.

Must relate well with the residents and facility staff as well as exhibit a desire to perform all responsibilities of this position.

Preferred two years’ experience in recreation in a geriatric setting, ability to work effectively as a team member.

Must be available on the weekends

Should be flexible with your schedule

Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays in accordance with the monthly recreation schedule of activities.
